Thermal-power cycles operating with supercritical carbon dioxide (sCO2) could have a significant role in future power generation systems with applications including fossil fuel, nuclear power, concentrated-solar power, and waste-heat recovery.
For the further development of biomass conversion technologies, a supercritical CO 2 power system is a promising option for the efficient utilization of abundant renewable resources. Biomass has the potential to be used for power generation and bio-synthetic production with zero CO 2 emission.
