How fast does an EV charger charge?

A charger with a high kW rating will generally charge faster than one with a low kW rating. To help understand EV charger speeds, you'll often see AC chargers described as 'slow chargers', and DC chargers as rapid charging. But for EV charging power, there's more to it than that.
